Ronán Noone’s solo thriller, written entirely in rhymed verse, follows Tim Finnegan, an Irish immigrant bartender on a Massachusetts summer island who drifts into crime after losing his job. Michael Mellamphy performed it under Conor Bagley’s direction in Irish Repertory Theatre’s W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre. Ran Jan 18 (previews) to Mar 12, 2023 (extended from Feb 26); opened Jan 26. The piece won Best Playwright at Origin’s 1st Irish Festival in 2019, and its 2020 staging was canceled by COVID.
